Ideas consultation
This first visit is completely free with no obligation. We will ask you questions about your garden…what do you like about it? What do you want to change? How do you want to use your garden?
Hayley & Stuart will assess the bones of your garden and give you some possible solutions and exchange ideas to help you. Perhaps you have a border that needs renovating and need new planting ideas? Perhaps you want to start all over from scratch?
After the meeting, we will confirm our discussion and you can decide if you wish to go further in the process.
Concept Design
If you need a concept design for your whole garden, prices are between £750 – £1900 + vat depending on the size of your garden. Initially first ideas would be presented, we may meet a couple of times during this process to the point when you are happy with the concept. Then the final concept plan can be drawn for us to quote for the work. Colour PDFs are provided. No further costs for technical drawings are charged if Horted complete the works.
Planting plans for existing borders include plant listings and quantities together with a mood board, start at £150 depending how many plants are required or how big the borders are. This can be quoted for once we have seen them.
Plants can be sourced, supplied & planted for planting plans and quoted for separately.
There is no obligation to have a concept design or full design after our first visit – you may just need some landscaping or renovation work.
Full Design
If you are ready for a full re-design or are working with a blank canvas this next step will require us gathering much more detail from you and measuring up.
If you have a very large garden a full landscape survey may be required, surveys start at £1500+vat.
To create a full design, with planting, hard landscaping details and garden features the price would be dependent on size of garden & surveying costs, levels etc. A detailed quote would be provided for approval.
Technical drawings for use with another landscaper/contractor start from £1200+vat but again depend on the size of the garden.

Plenty of Spring bulbs, roses and low maintenance shrubs with a lawn, required for outdoor meetings. Space for herb growing near the kitchen door and trees for the wildlife.
